Planted my melons and squash today! To get them to come up with strong roots, it is recommended they have bottom heat. I think its a little excessive to charge $20 for a 2' X 1.5' heating mat for plants so, I busted out a heating blanket that I never use and BLAM-- enormous heating mat for free.
