I use the Bakuchiol serum at night before bed. It goes on light and smooth and soaks in fairly quickly. I really like this product, and will repurchase.

Fragrance is Strong

I really want to love this product but the fragrance is just way too much! I think it works well though. The smell doesn’t fade much either and I get an instant headache.

In general, I really do wish Modern Roots had more fragrance free or just low fragrance face products.

We are working on a sensitive line with NO essential oils or absolutes for those that are ultra sensitive to smell. The smell in Bakuchiol+ comes from the babchi oil, angelica root absolute, vetiver essential oil and oakmoss absolute. These do provide extra qualtities that the skin benefits from. After the new year, be on the lookout for our no smell sensitive line!
